NIGHT OF THE PROG FESTIVALS - LORELEY AMPHITHEATRE - GERMANY

The legendary UNESCO World Heritage Venue by the Rhine supplies an unique setting for extraordinary open air festivals. The countless ROCKPALAST live broadcastings bear contemporary witnesses to those concerts in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

The NIGHT OF THE PROG FESTIVAL was established in 2006 and since then has grown steadily to become the leading Prog Rock Festival in Europe (5,000 in attendance from 24 countries in 2007) which took place on 3 days in July 2008 with nearly 7,000 in attendance.

The 4th edition of the NOTP Festival will take place on 10th and 11th July, 2009.

The festival aims to bring young, talented and ambitious bands on stage playing all kind of sophisticated rock music, to perform in front of a reasonable crowd. To guarantee this, they combine those bands with established progressive and other rock bands.
