The Musical Box - A Trick Of The Tail

The Musical Box performs Genesis - A Trick of the Tail Tour 2009

In 1976, Phil Collins takes the helm as the new singer of Genesis. With the undeniable legacy left by Peter Gabriel, the band launches its new world tour following the release of "A Trick of the Tail" knowing they have a lot to prove. Including the first ever stage laser, Genesis keeps its tradition of delivering a highly visual show with an extensive song list of new titles and the band’s classic pieces. "A Trick of the Tail", considered one of the strongest and innovative Genesis album, sets new grounds for Genesis live performance with the infamous drum duet of Collins with guest musician Bill Bruford. Phil Collins' new role is well received and marks a new era for the band which is soon to be propulsed to new heights of becoming one of the most influential rock bands in history.

After international acclaim for their re-enactment of Genesis' "Foxtrot", "Selling England by the Pound" and "The Lamb lies down on Broadway", The Musical Box will now present worldwide, with the help of Genesis and artists involved in the original show, "A Trick of the Tail" in painstaking details including original slides, movie projections, laser effects, special effects and original song list as presented by Genesis in 1976 to capture this important moment in Genesis history.
