Hamburg, Markthalle, 3rd of October
Report from the gig in Hamburg: We were very pleased to notice that yesterday we had the biggest audience we've ever had in Hamburg. We've really been spoilt with great audiences, this one was very appreciative. Had some nice food, chicken. Now we're on our way to Barcelona and it's already getting warmer. Some of us simply can't wait to get to the beach. No, not to swim, to have prawns in garlic sauce! We have a bit more travelling to do, but hopefully we'll be able to spend most of tomorrow in Barcelona. See you there!
A review of the gig, by Andrea Müller:
I traveled all the way from Bremen to Hamburg to some of my friends there just to see Arena. And I don't regret it! I have never before seen Arena live and did not exactly know what to expect from them. I was intoduced to them by my ex boyfriend so still memories are a bit dark, but after this gig, they are only happy! I was completely blown away by "Moviedrome" that is my favourite song by Arena and I was singing along what I could. The new singer, Rob Sowden is great (in so many ways!) and captured the people in the crowd in a great way. I thought it was great to be part of a crowd like that! I love especially the sensitive guitar playing of John Mitchel even though he cut his hair LOL. The other members are wonderfull too and Clive Nolan is fun and plays so good! Thank you Arena for playing in Hamburg! Before the concert I didn't knkow if I was going to go to to Amsterdam also, but now I am sure! Best thanks from Andrea
