STUTTGART - 3 October
Report from the gig in Stuttgart: We were very pleased to see some die hard Arena fans travlleling 'with us' from Augsburg to Stuttgart! Again, the audience was very noisy and enthusiastic. At one point in "Friday's Dream" that audience sang so loudly - and the wrong line! - that Rob completely lost the plot and had to pick up a few lines later! A nice gig, a bit of a 'middle of the tour' feeling to it.

Two (!) voices from the crowd, Peter and Glenn Morgan:
How lucky can you get!? We're spending a month in Europe (we're from New Haven and yes, we're brothers) and purely by luck we heard that Arena were playing in Stuttgart the very same evening we arrived there! We had to change our plans a bit but it was totally worth it! We went for a couple of beers first and met up with some other people and made them come along to the gig. The gig was awesome and the guys in the band are real entertainers. But poor Mr. Snowden had a bit of a problem, we were too loud! I think he had some trouble making himslef heard at times. Anyways, great gig and come to the States now, we'll be waiting for you over there!

A voice from the crowd, Hansi Schmidt:
Arena rocks! Fantastic! I have only good things to say about the masters of progressive music. Rob is very good on stage and they all sing so well together, maybe a duet with Clive and Rob sometime? This was one of the best gigs in my life! /hansi
