Slovakia - Nitra - Stara Pekaren
It was a sunny day and the first hour or so was spent in t-shirts, shorts and sun-glasses outside the venue. It was nice to be able to get some fresh air without freezing to death. The set-up continued without incidents and we looked forward to playing our first gig in Slovakia. It was not a disappointment. Once we walked on stage we were faced with a very noisy crowd! We were impressed how many of them knew the lyrics. After the gig we met some of these people who seemed genuinely enthusiastic about our presence. One guy had even traveled from the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, just for this concert. That's dedication!
