- Warszawa - Proxima
I think we should take a moment to pay tribute to the Arena crew, who
have excelled themselves during this tour. They have grappled with early
mornings, late nights, difficult get-ins, high stages, small stages, power
cuts, break-downs and many other unforeseen problems. They have constantly
emerged victorious, with never a complaining word. They have helped to make
this tour so far a most enjoyable experience. Today's gig in Warszawa was no
exception. We were pleasantly surprised that despite the early start of the
concert there was a very healthy and enthusiastic audience. Both Jadis and
John Wetton had great gigs and by the time we went on stage, both the
audience and the band were ready to rock! We played a slightly shorter set
due to time restrictions, but it was strange to find ourselves finished by
8.30 in the evening. Many of the Arena entourage attended the obligatory
Saturday night disco that followed, while another small posse took a taxi to
the center of Warszawa. A great day!
