- Budapest - Mega Pub Club
Day off: Chop managed to get as far as Vienna before having to take his
nine hour break. We found ourselves in a service station between a petrol
station shop and a McDonalds. This would do! Today proved to be a bit of a
film fest, with various offerings including "As Good As It Gets",
"Dead Calm", "Dare Devil", and the evening was rounded
off with Bill Bailey's "Bewilderness". An essential piece of
comedy for any self-respecting progressive rock entourage. At 2 in the
morning we left for Budapest…
The gig:
This is our first time in Hungary and we were looking forward to our gig in
Budapest. When we arrived we were treated to an excellent, cooked breakfast
and warm hospitality. The stage was very high and fairly small but we
managed to get everything on there and we were ready to rock. It was a great
evening and the audience gave us an enthustiastic reception. An excellent
first step into Hungary!
