Germany - Essen - Musikpalette
When we arrived in Essen we were all expecting a different venue. Most of us have played the Zeche Karl before, but this place was called the Musikpalette. We weren't expecting many people but were gladly surprised to walk out to a packed audience. That's always the best kind of surprise! Unfortunately we were plagued with technical problems last night, and it was Ian's turn to be ill. A series of people have suffered this mysterious bug over the past few days, but fortunately it seems to come and go quickly. However, the band were forced to complete "Ascension" minus a bassist! Apart from that we had a great gig.
